Vanessa Paradis isn't a model at all !
She's been the face of a chanel perfume and of a chanel bag that's all .
She says in interviews that she "collaborates" with chanel .
Plus she's 5 feet 2 !

I don't know why there aren't more french models.
Maybe we french are too ugly to model? (i'm french )
Oh no I will not accept that reason it's not good for my ego.

I looked it up and Loan Chabanol is no longer an active model. Sorry.
I have a pic here of melanier Thierry; does anyone know if she's still modelling? I know she has been in some movies lately, but am not sure about her fashion work.

It's just the current wave no? We have our Brazilian brigade, our Aussies, our Canadians and our Russians. France is just having a little break!

But there are so many good models in France with perfect proportions. Just watch any of the local shows like Junko Shimada!

I do know Vanessa Paradis is short...actually I've heard she's 5'1...but she has done a lot work modeling, if you compare her to other actors or singers.I didn't mean her occupation is a model.

I've always thought French women are so beautiful and skinny(quite a cliche,but still...I'm jealous to ya! I just hate being a Finnish girl...we're so boring here!),but I didn't find any of those models really original or gorgeus...
