I find it kind of sad that the French models who have become quite big over the past few years never got any real appreciation from Vogue Paris outside of that group photograph - I don't think Constance Jablonski would be so out of place on the cover. I think Aymeline could have a chance, though.

It's a pity to me as well. I love how Vogue Australia is so proud of their Australian models, French Vogue could take a lesson -- instead of reusing the same 6 or 7 girls for their covers.

At least Constance is featured inside the mag quite frequently.

Even Sigrid, who had a complete year and half of runway domination and top campaigns rarely makes it inside the mag.

Speaking of supporting French models, the French brand Façonnable is a avid one. Their 2010 S/S & F/W casting is all-French!

2010 S/S - Hugo Sauzay, Clément Chabernaud, Sigrid Agren, Charlotte Di Calypso and Manon Pieto.

2010 F/W - Clément Chabernaud, Sigrid Agren, Caroline de Maigret and Jonathan Caillat.

They also got Hugo Sauzay and Philippe Reynaud for their 2011 S/S ad (with a German female model, odd!)

I remember seeing her in shows back in 1999-2000. It's nice to see an older model like her again! She was recently featured in the Miu Miu video directed by Zoe Cassavetes.
