As a fellow Depeche Mode fan i do not think their songs are creepy and Question of Time is my favourite song EVER.

I think this shoot is interesting I love the colors, it's very Melody Nelson and we are all adults here to handle it, she's not a child and she does not look like one, she's an adult playing the Lolita like it has been done millions of times. I would worry about kids being sexualized not the other way around.

I love Martin Gore, he is an amazing lyricist. But I read he wrote that about a 15 year old girl he was obsessed with. Definately in the over the top sexual way.

I still see it as eh. My Secret Garden? Amazing!

But the song , in my view is actually about how he wants to protect her from all the other guys that want to sleep with her regardless of her age because she's so beautiful,he knows what "goes in in your minds" and that time is ticking for her. He wants to put her under "his wing", well to do what we will never know and he never told us, he may want to sleep with her himself or just let her be innocent for a while longer . And that's the beauty of Depeche Mode so many interpretations...

^haha, my friend and I have constant (lighthearted) arguments about A Question of Time. She holds the same view as you. But she says it is his friends' daughter that he is trying to protect.

I really like Lily's ed but maybe its only because I can relate to it as the way I'd want to be photographed if I were to do a playboy? I also just thinks she looks really conventionally pretty in a way that she usually doesn't and I like that.

i don't think they intended to make her look like a child. the pictures imply innocence and cuteness with a hint of playfulness. which very much reminds me of the Anime girls( innocent shy faces + huge boobs+ lolita-esque clothes) Now if it was another model, other than Coco, dressed in this particular girly/sweet style no one would complain .. but guess what it's Coco! And she happens to look like a Lolita/doll in almost all her editorials. it's her appeal. ​
