these images are from fashionista.com via portfolio magazine.
tons more images here

(i wish i could post the others but portfolio's website keeps crashing my browser - maybe someone else can post the images and info)

Apparently this collection was ghost-designed by Marie Amelie Sauvé. I'm not very familiar with her work. Theres also rumours that Phoebe Philo had a hand in these garments.

second and third pics actually look kinda trendy and ... um... "designer-like"?

This is Gap Europe as in "The Gap", right? Why is it so much better than I'm used to seeing? This looks pretty strong, but I guess it could just be styling tricks.

Just these few images are amazing, why don't they sell this in the states!??

Gap employs a legion of designers at their San Francisco headquarters, why not hire a talented designer and a strong team instead? Seems to work for Europe...

the more i examine those looks i feel strongly that it's just some darn good styling... individually, the only piece here that speaks to me is the leather jacket in the third pic.

just goes to show you what the right color palette, casting and lots of layering can do...:innocent:

yeah i think it's just styled really well. The Gap in Europe isn't that great to be honest.

Looks great, I didn't mind GAP in Europe, I preferred their range than the ones in USA/Canada.

I agree that the pieces are nice but nothing spectacular, just good styling.
And I know that Gap might be predicting different demographics, but I'm still annoyed that Gap in the U.S. seems much less... fashionable.
Actually, this collection reminds me more of Banana Republic than Gap. Hmm :ermm:

i wish we got this nice stuff in the US. the gap here mostly sucks. i learned in class ever since their shift in management, their profits have gone down a lot because they changed their target market and their focus to business casual.. boring, boring business casual.

It's quite charming.
I like it alot actually.
I do wish that our Gap carried
items like that.
I'm tired of the lame stuff.

Although Gap Europe isn't all that....I like it. It's great styling...but you can achieve the look.

And I like the look itself.

nothing to get crazy about. To be honest, i dont eve see much difference from their previous collections in the past two or so years.
