She published a childrens' book The Water Princess

A group of children gathered around the first well that Badiel built in Burkina Faso, with her charity Models 4 Water.

and she launched her own website http://georgiebadiel.com/
She received a 4 Golden Girls Road to Success award for being an outstanding young woman from Burkina Faso
and her father passed away a couple months ago
She is titled as Model, Humanitarian (for her efforts to raise funds to ensure female education in her home country)
