Was it good for you?
Was it bad?

I should be happy I was fired because I was having a hard time there,
but I'm still feeling low.

Aww :flower: don't feel low!

It's their loss, not yours :)
A better company will snap you up soon :)

I got fired from my first job! I didn't do anything wrong, though. I was just...defiant.

Sometimes management sucks. In my case, it really did. Sometimes it's a lot better to be out of there, then to be stuck at a place where it's not really working for you.

At my current work, one of my friend's brothers got fired because he smoked pot at a school field trip. Some girl at work found out and told our boss, and he fired the kid.

The sister asked the boss why he fired her brother because it's absolutely irrelevant to his work performance, and the boss said he wanted people who had good character.

It was kind of silly, but I see where my boss was coming from.

They didn't deserve to have you there, papa_levante, and there is something much better right around the corner!

I was fired from a project for something I didn't do. I didn't say a word, just let it happen since I was ready to shake the cage anyway. I felt so good when the apology came, and the person who fired me learned a very hard lesson. She didn't know that the owner is my uncle. Don't worry, she wasn't fired and we have become really good friends.

I have also quit a job. That was very satisfying because they seemed to think that I had 'stupid slave' branded on my forehead. Guess what? I don't!

I hate having to defend myself against injustice, but when I go to sleep at night, I am proud of myself for standing my ground and believing in myself, even if my 'employer' doesn't.

If it was my own business, I would feel differently, but these are just jobs, internships or projects. I'm not amused by the drama, and I certainly do not take it to heart. ;)

i loved quitting on the spot once years ago when i sensed i was gonna get fired. so effing satisfying never to have to go back to a crap job!

Listen, i have been fired before, and i know at first you do feel low, but the important thing is not to blame yourself, and start looking for something better rightway. Dont sit around and think too much about it. keep yourself busy.

btw emma peel, i totally felt the same way when i quit my mcjob back when i was in high school. i was like to the manager this place is sh***ier than i thought. hah she was speechless.

Ouch, that was harsh. :o Why did they do that?
I guess those bratty managers wanted their 15 minutes of authority. :innocent:

You haven't been fired - you've been let loose to find a happier future, one that will fulfill you a lot more than the job you knew you should have left, but didn't get round to leaving. This is an opportunity to remember how thrilling (and scary) it is to be in charge of your own future. And you WILL find another job, for sure.

Just make sure you make the most of the time you have between now and getting that new job. It might feel like 'spare time' but it's anything but. It's time to find out about yourself. It's very important time.

Head up, keep busy and maintain a heart that's full of bravery. Remember that you can choose to be happy - and that we're right there with you.

I've never been fired..but in my job sometimes I've to fire people...I hate to do that
