i'm sorry but every season looks exactly the same. elegant, sophisticated and well-made? certainly. boring, stale and overdone? also likely. he has his niche but it's so safe and has honestly been done to death more times than i can count. but i suppose at his age there's really no point in trying new things. i will say, though, at least these models are beautiful women who look like they actually enjoy wearing those clothes, as opposed to the fat butch uglies that we see everywhere else. the armani woman is unabashedly bourgeois, and rightfully so.

His couture is so good that it overshadows his ready-to-wear for me and spoils my enjoyment of it. It’s still good but it cannot compete with the ethereal and perfectly achieved vision that is his Privé line.

I do love the lightweight dresses with a slight orientalist inspiration and the lovely jackets in different shades of iridescent blue.

The sneakers at the begging are vile though…
