Shades of jewels

The precious stones of the Sicilian Baroque inspire a make-up collection by Dolce & Gabbana. Four lipsticks for four varnishes in the color of gems

Precious stones, the sacred images from the Monreale cathedral, Byzantine mosaics. These are the three key elements of Sicilian Jewels, the very latest maquillage prestige from the hyper-creative designer couple Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana.

Going into detail, Sicilian Jewels comprises four lipsticks and four varnishes, in the related jewel shades (green is exclusively sold at La Rinascente and the perfume store Mazzolari in Milan).

Emerald? “Of course, green lips may leave you perplexed. But as Diana Vreeland used to say: “When the green you choose is the right one, you never abandon it”. And this is precisely the case. Emerald is the new black.
