I think Tisci has the aptitude of becoming a creative director at a brand with a rich history, but it's prob. too much too soon for him. His first ready-to-wear collection for Givenchy, while beautiful, reveals that his presentation skills still need to be finetuned. The makeup is distracting, the shoes are contradictory to the clothes, and his pencil skirts and gowns are a bit nondescript. With all of Paris loving the glamour of YSL, Balenciaga, Rochas, and Lanvin, Givenchy needs to up the glamour quotient to steal a bit of their thunder.
