Anyone know of a website where I would be able to get some roman-like sandals? I'm looking for a pair for summer time, and I want a pair of funky flats.

I went to UrbanOutfitters and some of their shoes looked so cheap :( so I didn't buy them.

But I got a pair of Gold gladiator sandals at a little Chinese shop and not only were they less expensive (12 dollars) the soles are also a bit thicker and the leather bindings are better quality.

Here are mine! I am thinking of getting the dark burnt sienna colored ones also.

I got mine off of eBay a year or two ago. It came in from Greece which was pretty coool. I don't know if he's still selling them though...

These are the ones I got. I got it in the dark brown color. If you want it to wrap around your legs like Adore's or the ones on Urban Outfitter's, it won't work. The lacing is too short (maybe once of twice around the ankle but I like it that way so I'm cool with it). You may have to replace it if you want the lacing to be longer.

Seller's name: aegean-sandals

A bit of a warning though... VERY slow on responding. May not even respond at all. At least that was how it was when I bought it a long time ago... but I did get my sandals in a timely manner.

May I ask where you bought them (as in store name & address)? Thanks!

Ohh u no what you should do? U should totally buy and sell them on ebay! I'd b the first to buy it from u... them... but ya i think the burnt sienna would look better...

and I am scared to bid from aegean-sandals since he hasn't replied me in 2 days! and the bidding time is almost over... I don't want to bid than finding out he doesn't have my size...

are these shoes really for men's? Since i always imagine women wearing them... women of the 20-21st century anyway but i had a hard time picturing modern men in them

I might be selling ones similar to mine on my boutique :-) in the dark brown, black leather color and possibly the burnt sienna color.

Just visit the site (link below) join the mailing list or the adorevintage forums to get latest updates. :-)
