Hi, I'm off to paris later this year and I would like to get my wife a pair of long leather/suede gloves does anyone know of any good shops to try?

thanks.

Yes I'd also like to know if anyone has any suggestions...I'm desperately missing my leather gloves...

definately Au Bon Marche on the left bank.....

Thanks Helena, I'll check it out...I've only really been in Galeries Lafayette and Printemps when I've been in Paris...saying that; when I was working in one of the offshoots of Lafayette in Rouen they had a gorgeous range of leather gloves, and it was a tiny store...so it's probably worth having a look in Lafayette too...

yes it would be a good option too I am sure there will also be some nice specialist shops....in fact I think I was in a glove shop on the Rue de Rivoli before.....Lena might know actually.....

Can anyone recommend some ladylike (leather?) gloves for the spring? I'm not sure what I'm looking for but will know it when I see it! Maybe a cute pair to wear with a 3/4 sleeve jacket and Novak? Something unique! I already have black leather driving gloves with perforations and the short orange Hermes (actually a bit too thick!). Thanks in advance!

Paris Gloves

I bought some great black leather opera length gloves in a small shop. Its just that I lost their business card. I think it was somewhere between the Moulin Rouge and the Paris Opera House. Would anybody know of any glovemakers in Paris that make opera gloves to your order ? Professor Leather
