I find Blair to be very Kathryn from Cruel Intentions and Blake to be Annette. Someone wrote that on the imdb boards and I totally agreed...I don't get The OC vibe except for the fact that they involve the parents in the storyline. I'm glad they don't do it as much as The OC though...

I think Leighton is prettier than Blake... but that could just stem from my hatred of Serena and love of Blair (even if she is a conniving b*tch, at least she has character flaws!).

I just remember that all the CW shows have some deal with MTV...usually only Top Model makes it on though. So that's a good sign that they added GG.....it's #1 on Itunes again too...

I was looking at it from more of a book standpoint myself, but that's okay.


I actually prefer show Serena to book Serena... at least this one doesn't have that cooler-than-thou/Sienna Miller wannabe personality as the one in the book.

CariDee Will Guest Star On Gossip Girl

CariDee will be guest starring in Gossip Girl. I've never watched the show, the previews gave me a headache with that GD Fergie song, so I don't know if it's good or not. What I do know is that CariDee won America's Next Top Model and hasn't really worked as a model since she left.

CariDee will be guest-ing this November where she's rumored to be playing the girlfriend of an older man. ::shrugs::

Do you think her resume says "Professional Party Girl, Sometime Actress"?

I loved her but she's been sooooo disappointing.

I'm sure everyone's put in about the choice of actors, but bear with me.

Serena's completely off from what I thought Serena would be, but I think if she did look like book-Serena, I'd probably hate her or something. And Jenny is too...primped; I don't necessarily mind that her boobs aren't the right size haha, but she's so not earthy in the way Jenny should be imo. And Blair's sidekicks...if it was a horror movie they'd get killed off first. Other than that, everyone is perfect and better. I'm so impressed with Blair, Chuck, and Nate. They embody physically what I saw when I read the books. Woohoo

I think Leighton does Blair really well. Makes me hate her...
I like Blake's portrayal of Serena too... After a few episodes, she seems to fit.
Chuck? Perfect. Such a jerk, but it works. (Hmmm, rhymes! )
Nate? Eh... Not the best.
Jenny? Nothing like I imagined... In the books, I couldn't stand her, but I love her on the show.
