Haters of reruns take note! The CW has heard your cries of displeasure and has handed out additional episode orders to some of its most popular shows.

According to Entertainment Weekly, '90210' and 'Gossip Girl' have received two additional episodes each, putting their season totals at 24 episodes.

I don't know about you, but I am paralysed with grief over this news....

It looks like Eric van der Woodsen has seen the last of the Upper East Side. Speaking to the assembled journalists at the TCA press tour in Los Angeles over the weekend, Connor Paolo revealed that he won’t be able to appear on Gossip Girl next season due to commitments to his new show, Revenge.

"Eric's going to college and he's going to stay there," he said. "He's been trying to get out of the household for quite some time.”

Pushed further as to how Eric will be written out of the show, Connor wasn’t sure. "I'm not the one to ask. I guess the future of the family is left in Josh [Safran] and Stephanie's [Savage] ample fingers. But as of now, my schedule is dominated by Revenge. So I don't know that Eric's coming back from Sarah Lawrence [College]. We'll see."
