I don't think so...If I can remember well, the wedding is in November.
Well, about this being the last season of the series, I think it's high time it ended...And this comes from a person who's been obsessed with Gossip Girl for the past 4 years.

I'm sure I read somewhere that Leighton's contract is up next year, so presumably the others are too. They'll probably drag out one more series if that's the case. It will be interesting to see who ends up with a good career post GG though.

^ Yes- they said everyone was signed for six seasons from the beginning, but between declining ratings, the actors having other things on deck and, more than anything perhaps, the producers have lots of new things waiting- this season just might be it...

Wow! I knew the show's ratings were bad but I didn't know they were THAT bad.
I actually think it was the writers overplaying their hand--and then being arrogant about it (re: abusegate, Chuck Bass post-abusegate treatment)--plus the bad storylines this season that are killing the show. Yes, the actors have complained, but they've all been fairly diplomatic about the contract. And, while the producers are busy with other stuff, they've had years to get other shows ready to prepare for GG ending.
HA! I unsubbed from this topic last season but I still keep checking out. It's weird seeing it so dead. I have to go to tumblr if I want to find any excitement related to the show (and even that's not all-out excitement because dair shippers are weary and suspicious of Dair getting propped for Chair and complaining about how stupid the other storylines are getting and Chair fans are....trolling up the fanbase and ignoring all non-Chair storylines. Not exactly a writer's dream come true.)

Interesting that they bring Chuck's mother up again...humm...
Yessss that is one thing they need to sort out. Either clear up that storyline or finish it completely.

And far be it from her to slip in quietly in the night, Georgina’s reentry has been timed for maximum impact.
“Her first episode back is our 100th episode,” Safran reveals of the show’s milestone outing, which is set to air in early 2012. “Her arc is unlike anything that she has done before on the show. Of course, she still is Georgina and all that implies, it’s just taking that in a new direction.”
When last seen in the Season 4 finale, the now-married mother of one — bored to death by domestic life — returned to the UES looking for some trouble. What she found was an unlikely kindred spirit in interloper Charlie. (Ms. Sparks skedaddled shortly after discovering Charlie’s Big Secret, which is sure to make their reunion a tense one.)
