i agree that NYC prep is a horrid show. Nothing compared to GG.

they started shooting early! Maybe it's because some of them have film projects that start early next year like Chace.

i dont think the reality show shall be very exciting, unless they are courting controversy. These are very young minors thus cant get away witht he things Blair, Serena, Georgina and co. do on the show, anyway lets wait and see how it goes.

I think it was pushed back to September 14 because they took so many hiatuses last season due to the early start date.

Hilary Duff is going to be joining GG for a few episodes?!?!?!?!

My boyfriend broke the news to me before proceeding to laugh at me. Then taunting me that if her popularity grows that she might become a permanent fixture. I didn't believe him at first, but the JustJared also came out with the same story. Booo! Apparently, she's supposed to be V's new roommate and Dan's love interest.

Hilary Duff is joining Gossip Girl for a multi-episode arc, sources confirm to EW. OMG!!!!! The 21-year-old singer/actress will play Olivia Burke, a movie star who enrolls at NYU in search of a traditional college experience. She ends up rooming with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr). E! also reports that Olivia will be the new love interest for Dan (Penn Badgley).
The Duffster is scheduled to debut in this season’s fourth episode, slated to air on Monday, October 5th.
