Gossip Girl (TV Series)

This should be fun!! :woot: (My editied list, since who really cares about the other shows, anyway....!) ;)

If the children are our future, then we're screwed. Today this year's Teen Choice Award nominees were announced, and as always, the list features some truly absurd nominees.

On the television side, Gossip Girl leads the nominees for a TV Drama despite having a subpar season and coming in as one of the CW's lowest-rated shows. Meanwhile, a great new show like The Vampire Diaries was stuck in categories for Fantasy/Sci Fi shows, which is arguably the most interesting category since it also features Fringe, True Blood, Lost and Supernatural.

Choice TV Show: Drama
Gossip Girl

Choice TV Actor: Drama
Penn Badgley, Gossip Girl
Chace Crawford, Gossip Girl

Choice TV Actress: Drama
Blake Lively, Gossip Girl
Leighton Meester, Gossip Girl

Choice TV: Villain
Ed Westwick, Gossip Girl

Just a little question, was Eric Daman also stylist for Gossip Girl season 1?

^ IMDB says he was the only one...;) BTW, he was also the assistant costume designer for Sex and the City- he certainly has the best of credentials!!

^ oh yes he does.

im waiting for the book to arrive :woot:!
ordered it last week!!!!

^ Sounds like she will be right back on the show, doesn't it??
Look- Chuck's Mother was out on the red carpet!! :woot:

^She was such a good choice for the role of Chuck's mother! Too bad she didn't stick around for that long, but then again, no one ever sticks around in GG for more than 3 episodes
I don't get it, why don't they wait and see how well received a character is by the fans before just dropping them all? I mean, with Aaron it was pathetically obvious nobody was going to like him, but some of the new characters should have stayed on the show longer. I agree about Elle, she was interesing, they should get her back. And Mädchen Amick (sans her boring stepson) was great on GG, too!

^ i totally agree. shes so beautiful and it wouldve been nice for chuck to have a parent-like person in his life - aside from Lily.

Aaron was such a waste of our time imo. Even though his father is Blairs step-dad, its funny how they never show him anymore - I thought that was his characters cue to stay longer.

I think the writers didnt think a few of these things through :S

^ I think so too...she was a very beautiful Miss USA when she was younger- and she still looks pretty good! ;)

^ She was Miss USA? didn't know that. I'm going to google her back in the day :)

But yes, I think she will be back. She ended up being his mum in the end and then left. Why would they completely kill of a character once we found out she was his mother. I think if they run out of material they will bring her back, she is like a backup character.

^ Yes in 1985...I believe she was the first Latino Miss USA...^_^

Exclusive: 'Potter's' Poesy Will Guest on 'Gossip Girl'
Clemence Poesy is going from Hogwarts to Constance Billard.
A Warner Bros. spokesperson confirmed that the French actress is signed on to do a guest stint on the CW hit "Gossip Girl." Poesy played young sorceress Fleur Delacour in the "Harry Potter" movies.
To avoid releasing any spoilers, the studio spokesperson said they couldn't reveal any details about Poesy's character or the number of episodes she will appear in.
"Gossip Girl's" first two episodes of the coming season will be set in Paris, so we assume Poesy will be coming on the show to add a little local flavor.

A CW release last month said: “Season four will open with a radiant Serena and Blair enjoying their grand and romantic summer in Paris… until Chuck mysteriously arrives in town with a new girlfriend and a new identity.” According to Entertainment Weekly, producers in May began casting the recurring role of Eva, "an utterly gorgeous female in her 20s or 30s who boasts a warm heart and an authentic French accent."

In addition to her "Potter" role, Poesy played Colin Farrell's love interest in the Oscar-winning movie "In Bruges."
Season four of "Gossip Girl" will premiere on CW in the fall.

This is so funny- picture from last August; do you think Ed had a couple of cocktails before this picture was taken!!??

In Chicago for Lollapalooza weekend, Ed Westwick and Jessica Szohr stopped into Rockit Bar & Grill for lunch. The Gossip Girl costars enjoyed truffle fries and vodka lemonades. "They were really cute and affectionate," a source says of the two, who also dined out with three friends. "They were there for awhile," the source adds, "just hanging out, eating and drinking."
