I have these from Pied a Terre...2001. The heel is quite chunky though,my calves are rounder than they were back then and they end at mid-calf...I'm surprised I didn't throw them out with my last move.

I love granny boots.

I remember a few seasons ago, maybe Fall 2001, Miu Miu did some granny boots in super aged leather that were beautiful. These current Burberry ones are also very sharp.

I love the plastic-y leather and the ribbon lacing. I don't know if they'd be classified exclusively as granny boots though.

I think what you wear them with depends on the height of the boot. For shorter boots I'd say a longer, slimmer (but not slim) skirt or a pouf skirt and for taller boots a shorter (just below knee) fuller skirt.

Thanks for the pic, Bart! I love those Burberry boots. Do you know if they're still avalible, or how much they are?

They're selling them on http://www.burberryusaonline.com for $960 USD, but they've only got sizes 37, 37.5 and 38. They probably still have them in stores as well so if those sizes don't work you could probably order them from a Burberry boutique.

And yeah, they're hot.
