knee high boots - what length?

My boots seem to hit about 2 inches below the knee, and it has never bothered me. They work well for my height. I've attached a pic from Thanksgiving... of my boots... it's a horrible motion pic... but it's still of my boots.

I think they're more comfortable when they are NOT riiiiight under the knee!

i like thigh high boots....

but "knee highs" should definitely be 3-4" below the knee

Here are a couple pictures of the height of the boots and I"m not sure how to wear them at this height. They are pictured with a skirt that I'm not too crazy about...what do you think. (should this be in the what to wear with thread?)

It appears from your pics that your boots rise up to maybe an inch below your knees. The boot length looks fine to me. I would either wear a much shorter dress/skirt or a longer one so the "gap" between your hemline and boots are approximately 3-4 inches...
