greta garbo seems to follow me everywhere. eeeverywhere.

i had to read roland barthes' "mythologies" for university and immediately ran into her on page 70. has someone read that chapter on her face?

yesterday i caught a glimpse of her through the bus window when passing one of those high end paper shops. mont blanc launched a new edition of fountain pens and promotes it with her name and face. i prefer the kafka-line to be honest..

and today i found the most wonderful picture of her in a book about the history of photography. i don't think i have seen it posted yet. it was taken by (who else) edward steichen in 1928. it's in colour and she is looking to the side with a kind of distrustful, arrogant or even angry expression on her face. it's hard to tell but it looks wonderful. and i love her hair in that picture. has someone seen it somewhere?
