Gucci Bamboo

i was thinking of getting one of the gucci bamboo purses.. mainly to wear over my shoulder.. it seems to be OK.. but havent had a chance to wear it for an extended period of time... does anyone else have any feedback on how comfortable it is to wear the bamboo over your shoulder??

i guess i'll talk about YSL's mombasa instead,...???

unconfortable as hell, if u wanna carry it over ur shoulder.
esp if u are wearing a thin top.
my shoulder hurts everytime i carry it..

im sure the bamboo handle would feel similar. both handles are stiff..

although i assume the mombasa bags have heavier handles.

i've had mine for ages - I think it's quite a classic actually but it's more to carry on the hands rather than on the shoulder. I have a black leather with bamboo handle and gold hardware.

i have the leather hobo w/ the leather strap and the bamboo loops on each side. they are not even that big, yet the still dig into my underarm... bamboo + handbag straps = NOT GOOD.

Do you have a REALLY tiny arm?? I dont know anyone who's had your problem with those bags. I think this topic is more about the bags with the bamboo handles, not the rings.

ME TOO! thank god it's not just me -- I thought I was being a wimp! but it gets better over time (I guess because the scar tissue acts as a cushion). I would think the bamboo would be slightly more comfortable just because they're lighter.

The most comfortable place to wear that bag would probably be on your arm in the bend of your elbow... bamboo on your shoulder would absolutely not be comortable.

These are HANDbags... not shoulder bags...

I can't find a pic of a different gucci bag that I saw on tv... it was on that stupid Super Sweet 16 Show.... that really spoiled brat who got her daddy to buy her a range rover.. she had a gucci hobo with a bamboo handle.. and she wore it on her shoulder.. but i have no idea how she did it... it HAS to hurt like hell... either that or she had nothing in it... either way it can't be comfortable.

Gucci Bamboo Hobo 131036

I am in search of a really cute hobo monogram bag.
it has bamboo shaped brass rings to hold the strap to the body of the bag with a signature reg/green colored strap.

the style # is 131036 and i was wondering if anybody knew whether it's part of the current line or if i could find it anywhere online? i don't live near a retail store =(

I have that bag and it's from last season. I got it in Italy last November. Don't know of places online selling the real bag, but I've seen many fakes from I offer and ebay. Good luck!
