source = nitrolicious. i like the green cable knit sweater (looks almost exactly like a topshop sweater from last season) and the rust colored gown.

The first men's outfit is slick. I wish H&M would bring designs like these to their Collection or Style brand. I have nothing against H&M but simply don't feel that their fabrics look healthy for any longer than 3 months or so.

^a lot of the items here are from the "trend" line which means they will only be in a few stores. some items may not even be produced at all.

Thanks for posting these pics, lucy92. Some of the clothes are really great. Pity they won't be available in all stores.

the matching skirt and dress (red) looks pretty but nothing else catches my eye

The styling is quite nice but as per usual these will look pretty lackluster in real life..

Agreed with saan. The styling is fantastic in my opinion. I'm especially liking the long blouse under a bright colored cable knit sweater and knit gloves/armwarmers under leather gloves!

i can no longer stand being in an h&m store...
the last time i tried was for the swedish hasbeens collab...
and it was a crazy zoo with loads of really horrifying creatures singing along to hideously bad music...
(read- teens singing along to the likes of NEO or Drake......)
and it was beyond loud and incredibly cramped and impossible to maneuver...
(and i am a professional shopper!!!...:o..)

not to mention the stupidly long lines...

i just left and went to uniqlo...thank you very much!...
:innocent:...

Almost same here except I will say the boots are quite nice looking.

The women's trend is by far the winner here.

i didn't even pay attention to the shoes lol. i was just too turned off by the blazers with the buttons set too high and pants with dropped crotches and not to mention those illfitting jackets in general.

this is the press release from H&M in regards to the collection:

“I’m particularly fond of this collection because it’s so easy to wear, so grown up and yet totally of the moment and with such great fashion attitude. Most pieces are fashion classics updated with a new silhouette or shape or simply new styling,” says H&M’s Head of Design Ann-Sofie Johansson.
For Fall 2011, H&M is all about the 70′s style influence, key looks are long, loose silhouettes, with classic coats in camel teamed with patterned dresses and wide pants, mixing retro styles with a modern twist. The color palette is warm like camel, cognac, burgundy, pumpkin and brown, as well as uniform-inspired colors, muted jewel tones and cream. If you like patterns, there’s tweeds, florals, paisley and checks. Key pieces are classic coats, including a parka, faux fur, blazer, tailored pants, knee-length skirt, blouse, poncho and chunky knits.

i think the styling is actually poor here. the inclusion of the ankle boots with wide palazzo style pants mystifies me. are these drop crotch pants really selling?

Hmmm. Not very exciting, actually. Even though I'm on a diet from high street stores, I'm always curious to see what new collections have to offer. All I have to do is remind myself what the nicer pieces will look like in real life, made of sketchy fabrics and strewn all over the floor :( :D

The new design director at H&M is not that good , I much preferred her predecessor , I forgot her name but she was an older lady with glasses.

Margareta van den Bosch you mean? If so, I agree.

^^^^ yes , she was amazing . I remember back in 2003-2007 , I would enter a HM store and be wowed by the detailing in the pieces and the cut. I dont see that now at all, Margareta Ven Den Bosch was waaaaaaaaaaaaay better.
