you're welcome softgrey
it seems that the apron is also a bag. so let's make this a reason to wear the apron.

explanation on the last items and the weavers in #4
from isseymiyake.com
This tunic incorporates abundant handiwork from India and takes much time to produce.
Thin strips of jersey are sewn onto the hand-spun, hand-woven Khadi (*1) fabric. With the edge of jersey curled in, it is finished with a unique sense of taste. The series, available in three dark colors, represents the highest level of Indian craftsmanship.

*1 KHADI
Khadi is a woven fabric with symbolic meaning to the people of India. This textile is neatly hand-woven using cotton thread that is spun slowly on a spinning wheel called a charkha. Production of Khadi is done manually throughout the entire process, so the finished products all have different appearances, giving a feeling of human warmth.

Charkha, the Indian spinning wheel / scene of thread-spinning / fabric hand-woven using hand-spun threads / weaving of delicate fabric using thin thread, which requires highly developed skills

about things in the last two images in #5

These products use a rare textile that has been handed down from 700 years ago. There are only about ten craftsmen now left in India who can produce it.
Twisted yarns of different colors are used as the warp yarn while weaving the cloth, producing a dot pattern that looks embossed. For spring and summer season 2013, we created dot patterns by twisting colorful yarns like green, pink and orange onto a dark-colored background.

about haat

HaaT emerged from the AUTUMN WINTER collections of 2000, and is named out of a threefold play on words with different meanings. The first is 'HaaT' which means 'village market' in Sanskrit - symbolizing a collection that includes a diverse range of techniques, textiles and aesthetics. The second is 'Heart' - referring to the traditional and established methods behind current day fashions. The third - 'Haath' is the Sanskrit word for 'hands' and conveys the subtle nuances that arise from the collaboration between design emanating from Japan, and the craftsmanship from India.
HaaT's creative director is Makiko Minigawa, who made her mark as textile director for ISSEY MIYAKE from the company's inception. Simply stated, the HaaT brand offers clothing and accessories that intimately convey the warmth of the artisan's hand with the assurance of everlasting enjoyment.

ok- well this explains why the only time i have ever seen HaaT it was at the Issey Miyake store in TriBeCa...

i saw the buttons and figured something was going on...
