Definitely not. Do you really want stubble in a few days?

Stick to waxing. Or bleaching, if your skin and hair color allow for it.

Thanks for the quick reply!!!
:)

then, I have to wax this forever? awww

have you considered laser? soft light therapy... at least you'll have to do it once every 2-3 months

ohhh Is surgery not dangerous?
I think that might be an option for me.

What about plucking the upperlip hair?
Does this carry side-effects as well?
Honestly, I am too lazy to go to spa once in 2 weeks to wax.
you girls are so diligent!!

light pulsation.... dunno the exact name but its safer than laser and works better.
i would do it. at least you'll be done in a few months ;)

I get mine waxed and the more you get it waxed, the slower and thinner the hair will come back. After the first couple times it will seem to come back fast, then it will slow down. Plus-when the hairs get thinner-you can pluck strays between waxing with out as much pain.

my doctor said you wont grow stubble if you shave every once and awhile and I do and I also pluck but that can HURT... i think I am going to laser....

Plucking will be more time-consuming than waxing, but no side effects (just any pain you get from plucking).

I pluck because the skin on my upper lip is really sensitive and I ended up breaking out when I waxed. It is really time consuming and you have to stick with it - keep a close eye on the area so you don't get singular dark hairs. I think bleaching looks bad no matter what skin tone, and lasers are a little more expensive than the $4 for a tweezer. Plus, they have larger tweezers that are meant to cover a larger area, and those reduce the time spent. Wax if you can, though. It's $15 ever other week well spent.

I decied to go to spa every other week:(
I am lazy, but I hate upperlip hair!!!

I think you have to be really hard working if you want to maintain your beauty...

From now on, I will try!

you can wax and also do nair when you cant get to the spa.

i shave mine,i dont know what started me off,i was only young when i started (around 11?:S) i think it was because i seen my mom do it,and ever since ive had to keep shaving and shaving and it really does my head in,i dont really want to get it waxed though, well i do but i havnt told my mom i do it cus im too embaressed only bein 13,and i dont really wanna turn up in a beauty parlor asking for a top lip wax :|

wax.
Its the best way to do it, bleaching will only make it less obvious but will not eliminate it.
I am a brunette and have to rid myself completley of it.
DO NOT SHAVE, please!
Wax, its doenst hurt that much... and after a while its easy... you will do it every 2 weeks. Dont buy into that myth that it will grow longer or darker- that is not true.

how can i wax it though?? i dont really want to go into a beauty shop or whatever asking for a top lip wax when im only 13 i will luk a complete idiot!!! well feel like 1 anyway

My ex girlfriend used to hydrolyse it at her esthetician. Once a mouth. Its like 13$ a month.

YOu know what..

That same problem used to bother me when I was little. At first I just used a dipilatory (A creme from CVS or Walgreens something like that. That you put on for 5 minutes and it disolves the hair away (A good brand was Sally Hansen) but a couple years back I got It permenantly removed by electrolosis. I went a few times and it hurt at first but then I got a creme that I applied before I came that made my lip numb. It only took about 6 sessions at about 13 dollars each.

SO worth it. :)

What's that? Never head of it...

When I get older and have oney I'll prob get it lasered off... as well as my legs, tummy, back.. arms.. EVERYWHERE!.. I'm not hairy by any means, but I hate the normal fuzz people have...

I usually wax or puck them. I wax my legs, so I just use the same kit I use on my legs on my face. I've never had a problem with it. Well, sometimes the hair isn't long enough, but then I just pluck the rest.

nair for your upper lip;) it comes in a little tube. Just be sure to read the directions and don't rub it too much when rinsing because I rubbed it too much with a wash cloth once and it kind of burned the skin and left a mark but it was fine all the other times I used it
