Fall 05 Haircut Trends?

what do you think are some hair cut trends for the following season? please post pics :flower:

I've heard long layers are pretty in for this fall...

Well the general public is making the trasition from pin straight and long to long big curls. My feeling is the general public usually starts to wear a trend a year or two after the big advertising push.

where do you think hair trends will go now? Do you ever think Short hair will be the main style? (think 1975 Dorthy Hamill's wedge cut) or fringe? (80's, everyone and their mother had fringe) fringe tried to make a comeback last year but the general public just wasn't ready.

Thoughts on all of this? I am thinking about making some major changes to my hair as it is very long and getting really boring. It seems to be dragging my face down a bit.

Where do you think the hair trends are going? I am truely thinking about that new bob Sienna is sporting :innocent:

^ We did but I think it came back when Nicole Richie introduced it back again

I  the very glamorous, lots of volume, hollywood hair is back again!
So tired of deadstraight hair.

i think straight is still going strong, and curls are there too. i have an impression that curls were big last spring, but now it's abit of both and also hair up:

With a curl hot iron like this one:

It´s easy to use too
Just grab a strand of hair and roll ir around the iron then hold it for a few seconds and voila!!!

I had my hair cut for fall in a short bob not unlike my avatar.

If you go from long to short, btw, please send your hair to http://www.locksoflove.org/  If you haven't heard of them, they make wigs for kids who need them. They need 10 inches, or 8 inches of undamaged hair, and your stylist needs to put it in a ponytail before cutting it. Chemically processed hair is OK, as long as it's in good shape. Since it's for kids, they sell any grey hair they receive :ninja:

I have very straight hair. The only way it works is if you tease your hair at the crown, under where you are going to have the smoothe hair on top.
Just put your head down, and take a fine tooth comb, and some hairspray or mousse and tease about 3-4" from your scalp and tease down towards it.
While you are still bent over, lightly blow dry it on low to set it,while you are still bent over, slide your headband on and then flip up, calm the strays and spray again with hair spray lightly and lightly blowdry down, without a comb, just to freeze it.

Thanks for the pictures everyone!

yeah I really like the headband in the Jessica Stam picture but unless you are in your early twenties or younger it is really hard to wear. ^_^

To get my hair poufy in the back I comb my part to the side in the front and comb the rest back in the middle. I think the models have hairpieces in but that really isn't practical for the regular day to day look.

did that make sense lol
