fall/winter 2006/2007 hair trends

what do you think are some trends regarding hair cuts and hair in general for fall/winter this year?

i'm not sure about real trends, but according to my hair stylist the trend goes back to more classic looks, softened edges and less drastic 80-ies styled shags.

Big hair is coming back..but not in a big way.. because the time and effort it takes to get lots of volume is something most women don't have the time for. (from the horses mouth.. or should I say a conversation with my hairstylist)

i love the move away from severe 80s hair it was refreshing at first but i'm liking the "pretty" hair again more than androgynous "cool" hair

but those 'hair trends' are quite pathetic in my eyes.
In spring 05 it's long and straight and autumn 05 shorter and bangs
in spring 06 its long and sleek in autumn 06 its long and big hair.

I mean, is anyone actually fallowing 'those' trends that are the goddamn same every season ?
Look at those picture and show me 'hair trends' from spring 06 - didnt they look the utter same ?

true. the hair "trends" you see in mags never seem that different to me but i do see a difference in street styles, maybe not a dramatic difference but among the fashion scene, its slow but i think the "emo" hair is starting to get boring cause you rarely see the extreme mullets and asymetrical styles like you did just a few years ago its still choppy and shaggy but i've seen more girls growing it out and moving on from black dye

I so agree, no matter what the trend is, i'll always keep my hair short & pixie, short & spikey, or simply short & clean.
