I've been thinking whether I should post this but the reason to leave it wasn't good enough. In the september issue of Weekend Knack (Belgian mag) Elise Crombez had a 4 page stretched article in the form of a diary. On a certain point she explained how harsh the business can be towards 'the product', the models' bodies that is, e.g. Narciso Rodriguez complaining she has fat elbows. Then this part came, I literally translated it and in case you want to read it yourself and you speak Dutch there's the attachment. It was a quality article btw

The young gaunt Hana heard she has wide hips. I had to make the sign of a cross when I heard it. Where is this going? That girl already has eating disorders, is on a program to gain a bit weight because she's so skinny. If she has wide hips, then I'm a whale!

I was a bit shocked when I read it really... what if it's true. Poor girl. Elise sees her pretty much every day during fashion week as they are in the same shows most of the time. And then that rumor Hana had to be transported by a wheelchair last season. I hope she learns how to take care of herself, it seems there's something very not right.

I have heard the "wheelchair rumor" before, it was started a couple seasons ago, I don't remember by who or why. I am 99.9% sure it isn't true.

I've always looked up to him, btw, are you sure Narciso is the one who says Elise has fat elbows?

Coz from UK VOGUE, Elise says that when she first came out, a particular designer called her "fat", so she stopped doing shows for them after that particular season and as I know, Elise still does Narciso.
