i have a question how do you measure legs to begin with??? stading up or sitting down??from the waist to the feet or from the hips to the feet? this has always confused me because what if you just have a really long waist or something?

"Hip to heel" is the agreed upon standard.

That whole leg measuring thing is so deceptive to me. A woman could have relatively short legs, but the length from her crotch to hip could be long... which doesn't necessarily mean she has really long legs. Besides, doesn't everyone in the real world measure their inseam as an indicator of how long their legs really are? But then again, some people measure their inseam from their crotch to ankles, or their crotch to heel like bikers, which is all so confusing....

those leg measurements must be outside leg, because its not possible to have a 48 inch inside leg unless you are over 7 foot tall
