Basically this is what the article is about (that's not a word-to-word translation, I've just hit the high points). ThanksIn fact there seems to be a contrast between the mystical Hana in the editorial and the positive and easy-going Hana in real life.
Actually Hana seems to be blissfully happy, living in New York with her husband and two dogs. She mentions that her French bulldogs are also models (once one of the dogs took part in a shooting, the other appeared to be too shy). Then there is a story about how Hana was discovered (she participated in a modeling contest, and her prime concern was to get $100 as a prize). Hana recalls that at that time she was keen on sports, and boys didn't seem to find her attractive, because she was too thin and tall.
At the age of 15 Hana became the face of the fragrance "Chic" by Carolina Herrera and then she hit the runway. The record shows that Hana did more than 600 shows, including the sixth show of Alexander McQueen. Hana claims that the mock fight (?) with Gemma Ward at the end of the show is hard to forget.
Then Hana starts talking about her husband (she says that it took Drew time and efforts to get her, but it was fun, because he loves challenges).
As far as their first date is concerned, Hana mentions that they didn't eat anything due to the fact that they were too busy talking to each other. Three hours later Hana realized that she met her perfect match, and Hana and Drew got married that year in Philadelphia.
What is more, Hana and Drew share a common interest, since they are both passionate about contemporary art. In fact the first item in their family collection was "Campbell's Soup Can" by Andy Warhol, which they got as a wedding gift.
Hana admits that eventually a person is likely to grow addicted to buying pieces of art, and it seems next to impossible to stop collecting. In fact their collection enjoys 60 items, works by Jean-Michel Basquiat, Damien Hirst, John Baldessari involved. Being committed collectors, Hana and Drew decided to open their own gallery in Manhattan.
As things now stand, the masterpieces are gathered in the couple's house. Given the fact the place had not been spacious enough any longer, Hana and Drew had their house completely renovated. Actually they had a party related to this occasion, and the invitation said: "Break Down Our House". Hana recollects that one of the guests took these words literally and came to their place with a hammer.
