love this girl, so pretty in the girlish sense and so accomplished as a model. Not sure whether her blank/private persona is intentional though. Well, no doubt she's shy, but does she realize it allows people to project any fantasy of her character? I think it explains her somewhat cult-like appeal. As though she's too perfect, unflappable, pure, kind, gentle, [fill in the blank] etc.

I doubt she is trying to affect anything. Hana's shy-ness, and she is shy at first, is one part of this but a bigger factor is that she's Czech and all the Czech people I've met are pretty private and "guarded".
