 Well the text is unreadable for me so let's wait for better pics! But I think it's nothing much new anyway!

I'd never yet understood Hana's appeal, but consider me a convert. She's unbelievable. :flower:

Guys, please refrain from posting in a language other than English because other members do not understand and is obviously difficult to moderate.

The interview from Elle... thanks to Cheiby :flower: ...and sorry for my English! :innocent:

You became one of the official guests of the IFF Karlovy Vary this year. What were your first thoughts when you received the invitation from your home town?
The first thing that popped up in my mind was that it was a great coincidence. My father just celebrated his jubilee so I had planned to come to Vary long time ago. I appreciate the invitation very much of course.
What was the experience, when your parents took you to the cinema for the first time?
We didn't go to the cinema very often, but it was a really big event when we went to see some fairy tale picture. The cinemas still have an element of the good old times, I love going there, even though today I mostly watch movies at home on DVD.
What was the future job of your dreams in your childhood?
I never thought I could be a model. My dream was to be a basketball player, I devoted myself to that sport at the beginning of the elementary school. When I was 14, my sister sent my photos to a modeling contest. In return, I sent hers, because we saw the advertisement "Who finds the model, gets 3.000 CZK (cca 100 Euro)" in one magazine.
You won that contest and your sister made that money...
And fancy, I was upset that nothing was left for me.
Where did your first work trip go to?
Soon after that contest I left for Paris, without any knowledges in English or French. But I was glad I would visit France, I'd never travelled by air before. I had been only to Germany, that is closer to Vary than Prague. Then I had no idea that travelling was one of the most difficult things about modeling and that I'd have more that one's of it. Sometimes I travel between Europe and New York twice or three times a week.
What were your Parisian starts?
Right after the arrival I got a map and I walked about 10 castings a day. I lived at this pace for two months, but those castings didn't bring me any job. It was extremely difficult for me - a different nature, a new surrounding, no friends. Several times I thought I'd give modeling the deep six and return to school.
And then the marvel happened?
Almost. A day before my departure my job for Numéro was confirmed and I went to London instead of to Prague. This job started up the avalanche, I got several important campaigns soon after.
What did you buy for your first honorarium?
I bought a mobile phone to my mum so we could keep in touch.
You have already lived in New York for 5 years, do you still miss your family and home land?
It was really hard to get used from the beginning. My life in Vary ran slowly and then I found myself in New York, a city full of energy. I'm happy there today and I can't imagine I could return to Bohemia. I drop in three times within a year, always just for a couple of days. The only person I talk to in Czech is my mother. Every time we're on the phone she says she will send me books because I forget some Czech words.
You don't have friends among Czech models in New York?
I have some, but we don't meet up very often.
Do you have time for friendships at all when you travel all the time?
I have some very good friends in NY, but when I'm free, I spend my time with my fiancé.
To have a gallery is your dream...
That's true, I'd like to open one one day. Art is one of my manias, I'm attracted to study its history. I might take some lessons eventually.
You can get back to studies when you quit modeling one day, don't you?
I have an exact idea of what will I do in 6 or 7 years, after modeling.
Can you disclose it?
I'd like to have a baby, to establish a family. I'd purchase that gallery I dream about as well. And twice a week I'd take art history lessons. But if they offered me some big campaign now and then, I wouldn't complain.

What stupid questions though. Why not ask her about her make up,style, hair, skin care, model friends? I mean that were just stupid, boring questions. And we never get Hana interviews anyways. Oh how sad :(

It was almost same questions they asked her in interview year ago... :innocent:
