She's now tied for 1st place on models.com "The Money Girls." But I find it very hard to believe she makes more money than many of the girls on this list.

But why would she make so much more than the other Lancome girls? Arlenis does far more catalog and campaign work than Hanaa, and I'm not sure if Daria is still with Lancome this season but either way with all of her major campaigns she has to be making more than Hanaa. And I find it incredibly hard to believe that Hanaa would make anywhere near as much as Gisele, who just topped the Forbes list.

not even joan is on that list so i'm assuming she must have signed a mega contract with lancome to be tied at number 1. as for the forbes list gisele herself once said don't believe what they write because they don't know anything you can't compare hanaa to arlenis she has more lucrative work in all the sectors magazines and runways plus campaigns.

it must be silly for lancome to give a not well known model a mega contract. let's get real here. she is no superstar. lancome main model is still daria werbowy and she has been with lancome since 2005.

clearly, her main source of income must not be from lancome. besides lancome, she has nothing that we know of.

disagree with everything you have said here, it's not silly at all for Lancome to give hanaa a mega deal contract it's actually very smart of them because her appeal must be huge in the middle east and money rich muslim countries. they must really lap that up and she must sell well to be given a contract that has pushed her to the top of the money list.

and she's not a "well known" name to everyone like gisele but let's be real, then again not everyone knows gisele or daria. to get recognised she needs to be given deals and she bagged the biggest one of them all from the looks of it. in fashion where it matters she's well known now, her story as being top arab/muslim model has been in every magazine/newspaper out there.

I agree with you. I think Hanaa is an ideal spokesperson actually. She appeals to the markets you stated, she has a face that sells here in Middle East. This takes Lancome one step ahead since none other cosmetics/beauty brands actually have contracts with Middle Eastern models that are representative of the region.Plus she is great in print. Her face "carries" make up well. She is well-spoken as seen in all her interviews. She has a confident aura, when she appears in runway shows, people always comment on this thread "she looks like a supermodel". I think these are all valid reasons for why she is a great spokesperson for Lancome, these are the assets that Lancome aims to market.
