^^^ Their recent run of covers have been very convincing in its Liz's x Fabien’s Bazaar knockoff; the solid coverslect and layout is good-- but hasn't a whiff in common with the rest of the very basic shoot LOL Unfortunately, the rest of the fashion content is more InStyle than high fashion-image making, let alone on the level of Paul and Tonne. Add to that Andrea Ruiz-Galvez’s art direction that’s the equivalent of an intern directed to look at Fabien’s graphic style but sloppily cutting and pasting with all the finesse of a rush job. Fernando Rubalcava would have done wonders and pulled everything together with such effortless finesse. (Just feast your eyes one the reliable slop that Vogue Mexico’s quickly become with him gone.) There’s potential but Spanish Bazaar is just not even close to the level of her superior high fashion sisters Italy and France. Their AD and fashion director with their department-store aesthetic needs to be replaced if this Bazaar hopes to keep up with her superior French and Italian sisters. I’d even prefer Samira’s over this sort of generic InStyle kind of styling.
So wonderful to see an edition of Haroer's Bazaar evoking the glory days of American Bazaar under Liz Tilberis! This cover with Nathy Peluso is gorgeous, not one element to the cover that I dislike. The lighting, the styling, the composition, the text placement... all brilliantly executed.
