I understand what you are writing in response to the photograph but did Tyra pick the photograph for the cover or the editor? Maybe there were better options from the photo shoot but this one got chosen. I actually do not find it terrible.

I don't HATE it either, I just wish she was doing something more/else with her arms and hands.

I thought it was bad, and my comment about her modeling skills also refers to her other recent work, which was terrible (cover and editorial). Let's see if there's anything to be saved in this case.

There are much better candidate photos in the full set set. This gives me "I'm waking up from a nap in my convertible Gown/Comforter"

There are so so so many better options but yeah this one got chosen but as much as I love it I also wish the editor picked another shot with a different angle for her arms and hands. I love her but I am always as critical for her or other covers or models for that matter. The remaining photos are absolutely gorgeous, not just the ones posted on Tyra's instagram or Harper's Bazaar Vietnam account lol I dug deeeeeep and found the other shots with way more colors and she does look FABULOUS and supermodelesque as she always does to me .
