It reminds me of when someone is trying to cover up a cold sore but still wants to be in the pictures.
Despite that, I absolutely love the cover with her in yellow. It's absolutely perfect for an April cover.

And once you notice that someone is trying to cover up a part of their face or body - or are being shot from the exact same angle in every image - it's all you can see.

To be fair to Carla, in this case she's modelling the jewellery, so the hands have to go somewhere they can be seen.

I know Carla is trying her best to show off the jewellery, which is the point of the thing, but some of the poses here are plain ridiculous.

Never cared for Carla and this shoot is just further confirmation I never will: Not a particularly interesting looking woman nor possessed of a strong presence and aura, then nor now. Why she managed to worm her way next to the Supers is as fascinatingly suspicious as she’s so mid. And her endearing claim that she (paraphrasing) “never associates with men that aren’t powerful” just may confirm how she did managed to worm her way into the Supers enclave, and forever affirming her as nothing but a talented golddigger (because whatever delusion she had/as as an artist is not even on the same level as her golddiggigng talent: At least she scored a Prime Minister for a while. I’ll give her that.)

Judeline should have been the coverstar— and given the 18pg streatment that Carla’s feature wasted. Judeline photographs extremely strong, like a young Rossy de Palma.
