Love her and her face but that pose or the shot they´ve chosen is truly unfortunate: she seems tired and uncomfortable. They truly didn´t have better poses??? Yes the movement of the dress is cool but the hunch-back and that slow tension or lack of energy kills the shot for me.
Pink and orange normally work well together, but not in this case. Plus Valentino's dresses are not suitable for full-length covers, no matter how much movement you'll try to incorporate. A pretty unimpressive cover, but interesting that Joan booked it.
yesss the other two pictures of Joan with that orange dress are MUCH better and indeed fitter for a cover shot. I also love the editorial !!! So happy to see Joan works so much she´s truly amazing.
A thousand times better than Vogue Spain! I’ll always be down for this style of fashion shoot, love the vibrancy of it all, the mixture of both studio and Paris location shots and adore the two covers equally. Joan Smalls truly is a fabulous model.
Oh I love this! The colors are perfect! This is quintessential Bazaar Spain! Glad they didn’t use the outdoor shot as cover as it would’ve felt like a knockoff of UK Bazaar.
