Carmen sweetie... what have they done? That angle/pose combined with that outfit is so unflattering and ridiculous, as is the hideous and amateur layout. Looks like it was done in Paint! What's with the colors? And that distracting headpiece? What a waste of Carmen.

Subscribers cover could've been cute, but that layout is such an eyesore and she does look like Celine.

These are anniversary covers? LOL. Fail, both of them. They should've saved Julia Bergshoeff or better still, Sharon Stone for this event.
The pose is wonky on the first cover, and everything else with the second one. I blame Xavi Gordo because Carmen is a bonafide high fashion model capable of so much. He should stick to shooting bombshells.

Whoever okay-ed the first cover needs an assistant! I actually love the second cover, the layout is a little noisy but the simplicity of the picture saves it.

Carmen was on the first ever Spanish HB cover ten years ago in March 2010, that's why they chose her.

She's also been having a moment in Spain since she closed the anniversary show for Pedro del Hierro a couple of years ago; right now she's the face of Spain's biggest department store. And also come on, she's Carmen Kass, as in "the American edition of Vogue declared her and Gisele Bündchen the two supermodels of the era in its January 2000 cover." I like Julia but she could never. Sharon would've been another good choice, though.
