While they've managed to unearth a great shot from a mostly forgettable Carine shoot, i'm not sold on this as a Harper's Bazaar cover, especially a september cover. Still, a solo cover for a non insta-model is always a good thing.

This Carine Roitfeld x Brigitte Lacombe Harper's Bazaar shoot has to be the worst Roitfeld's done for the magazine's September edition, and watching all these editions of Bazaar trying to make the most of it for their front covers, is both painful and tragic.

Both covers are ugly, disgusting for me, actually. That way that denim fits on Candice on her solo cover, and the cheapness of the second one?? The worst cover for this poor magazine who normally does good. That's even before I get to the casting, which for me is irredeemable!

Well, let's be honest. That Carine x Brigitte story is just awful. The material is not strong enough to make decent covers. It's painful to see some passionate editors around the world trying to turn a shot into a cover and just failed because the story isn't good to begin with.

I actually consider this the best cover option from the editorial. I even ordered it on Ebay! I like how Candice looks different than her usual sultry self.
