Harper's Bazaar France November 2024 : Gigi Hadid by Robin Galiegue

I lowkey like the cover, it's still mid but it has nice winter colors which contrast with one another. Nice photoshop, they made her eyes glown lol. What's up with covers looking like Linda Evangelista x Steven Meisel?

This is actually her best work in a while.

I really like this (and HB France covers in general) but I can't tell if it's because it is genuinely good or if it's because everything else out there is so bad. They seem to remind me of the Liz Tilberis-era Bazaar, which is my gold standard for covers.

The latter.

For me, around one out of every three covers is something worth looking at, but that's where it ends, due to the high import price and the 'airy' art design inside that feels like a vacuum of content.

With this cover, half of me likes the mood being conveyed, the other half of me is wondering if it's the same effect we saw during lockdowns where everyone seemed so much better-looking when half their face was obscured by a mask.

Their covers are generally nice and good enough but there’s yet to be one that I truly love.

soooo boring, but I like Robin's work so looking forward to the editorial.
Agree this is the best Gigi work in a while, mainly because we can barely see her face and lack of modelling skills.
