From the publishers of Harper's BAZAAR comes Goddess - The Big White Book
Description from http://www.randomhouse.com.au/Books/Default.aspx?Page=Book&ID=9781863966450:
From the publishers of Harper's BAZAAR comes Goddess - The Big White Book 2007 - an exclusive, limited-edition tribute to the essence of woman.
Goddess, the third annual Harper's BAZAAR special publication, celebrates the seven illustrious stages of a woman's life as she moves through the rites of passage - Childhood, Teenager, Bride, Mother, Heiress, Widow and Angel.
Goddess debuts in a large, glossy format showcasing 176 pages of exquisite fashion pieces crafted by some of the world's leading photographers and stylists to complement every platform in a woman's life. Each stage of Goddess is made up of fascinating works of fiction by international writers including Jeanette Winterson, Rebecca Curtis, and Vladimir Nabokov as well as exotic travel destinations and fashion essentials. This book speaks to our inner goddess.
Each page is a piece of artwork celebrating the beauty of woman in each stage of her life. It is a tribute to hope, dreaming and pride as woman. To be passed down among fashion and beauty lovers.

To be honest, judging from the picture it does not look promising. The content sounds a little bit sexist to be honest;

A women's goal of life are to be a bride, a mother, an heiress and a widow? Exactly what is this book about? How to be a 50s house wife and serve your man the best you can?

How much is it? Australian magazines have been very disappointing lately...

I agree - when I read that description I was surprised and disappointed. I'm not sure if I want to buy it anymore :blink: - it will be interesting to hear if anyone can report of the quality of the content even though I don't agree with the premise. The price is $29.95 and it's a huge hardback coffee-table magazine.

I have been thinking whether to get this also.....last years big red book was ok buts its just like a big magazine that is in hard cover.....at least last years cover was prety though this cover is a little tragic
