UK Harper's Bazaar March 2013 by Cathleen Naundorf

Lara's cover is pretty. It's also a nice surprise that Olga has graced the cover of UK Bazaar. Can't wait to see her ed in full. Also 'Forward March' looks promising as well.
Thanks for the previews and review, honeycombchild.

Oh i love all the previews, thanks for snapping honeycombchild, this might be turn out to be a lovely March issue.

Great previews, looking forward on the Carine's ed, it seems to be a great editorial.

Lara looks so beautiful.
This issue is very good, I will problably buy my first UK HB issue with this months goodness but that cover...

HQ Subscriber's with Olga wearing Dolce & Gabbana:

I flicked through the magazine once, and nothing in it made me want to look through it again. It was all so dull and uninspiring :(

the subscriber's covers are so amazing, how could the newsstands one turn out so horrible? poor rachel.

looking forward to the eds though

It's hilarious to me that the whole team at Harper's thought that the image looked good. Not just good, good enough for a cover. How can they not see her head is the wrong proportion and her neck is horrendous? It baffles me how when Justine was presented with this Photoshop creation she didn't think 'Something's wrong'.

That's what baffles me too. These editors who're supposed to have the eye.. end up allowing blunders like this to occur. It's just impossible to miss. I find it rather hilarious how half the comments in this thread are about the mishap. Yet the situation obviously went unnoticed at the Bazaar offices. Because, surely not, they noticed it and allowed themselves the embarrassment after it's published for the world to see.

Is this the first time a magazine has done a separate cover for international subscribers? The shot used for Lara's is terrific, I would of loved to have received that one. But, I'm content with the Dolce & Gabbana/V&A one.

As usual, I haven't had the chance to sit down and have a thorough look through the issue. But I intend to, because after a quick leaf through, there seems to be a few points of interest. One thing Justine has done at Bazaar is fetch excellent articles to the book.

Carine Roitfeld's editorial is fantastic, Stephanie Seymour's two pictures are electric. I knew I'd love what Roitfeld would bring to the table. Even though she doesn't so what she used to at Vogue Paris, there's still a certain quality to her pictures. I look forward to the rest of Carine's stories. Modern Love by Catherine Servel is nice too. I commented last week that I'm over these sixties edits that are getting played out in every single publication. But this one is nice and enjoyable, I love the composition.

Ironic wow at the cover. It's like when Cosmo plays with heads & bodies.

She looks like a robot checking to see if someone's put her head on right.
