Bazaar's Jan. issues typically beat US Vogue because of the holy trinity--New York, Milan, Paris Spring-Summer at a glance. However, this is the most underwhelming seasonal preview I've seen. The photographer that shot the Paris segment has a TERRIBLE sense of composition, and the art director was wrong for not cropping a lot of the pictures. I don't know if that ed is about the architecture or the clothes. Look at the picture above: it's a bad clash of vertical lines and puff sleeves. No focal point.

On a brighter note, Natasha Poly was in a great cocktail edit for Bazaar last fall that used urban landscape as a backdrop. I loved the linearity and the pop of colors in that edit.
