The other covers are ok but I LOVE that first one. I don't know who she is but that first shot just might be the best presentation of "unconventional beauty" ever.

I'm a sucker for a Vreeland tribute! Why is it smaller international editions of HB do a better job of expressing and celebrating the spirit of Why Don't You than the cheesy American edition?

Love anything Vreeland as well. Creatively speaking, her best years were at Harper's but I think Vogue gave her the iconic profile as we know it. You can still see her footprint in Harper's to this day, especially the US and some international editions.

The whole issue in print looks cheap. The cover story is amazing but they changed the paper -it feels cheaper than other issues-, so the quality is terrible.
