There used to be a period when every Turkish glossy (Vogue/Elle/Harper's) turned out strikingly beautiful covers each month. Basically, like how the Aussies are just hitting the right spot now. But the former has gone right off. The pairing of the look, Joséphine, and Horst had so much potential to end up with a classic image, but it ended up washed-out and dull.
I wonder if we're going to see a small trend for b/w covers over the next while, because it's something 'new'. I do like to see one, every once in a while, but when magazines seize onto something, it often gets done to death.
