Noticed Balenciaga was missing, but didn't care because nothing new will be presented anyway. Thus, not caring.

I think that with the perspective of Chanel and Dior returning to a certain form of creativity, as THE two leading couture houses, the work of Demna will have less impact outside of his crowd.
And despite being a success I don’t have the feeling that Balenciaga Haute Couture has won the heart of the establishment.

Over the past 5 years we have seen Couture clients go to JPG guest collections instead of Balenciaga for their more daring, edgy propositions.

Completely agree. It still irritates me that we've had this much shifting going on and that is the one appointment that we want fixed and it hasn't yet happened.

couture clients are not that dumb to buy into Demna's gimmicks. Sure some "edgy" fashion victims will go for the trash dress for 1 time but ultimately the regular couture clients have better knowledge of construction and techniques even if they don't always pick the most flattering looks. They are fashion nerds and wont buy into demnas schtick.
