MB placing dumpsters all over the Grand Palais for the couture show cause what's more disrupting, thought inducing and channeling the CHANEL customer status quo that showing 100k embroidered CHANEL Couture jackets in an actual landfill

I cannot wait for Murad, Hobeika and Armani ! Armani always delivers and Zuhair Murad's last show was just impressive ! 40s femme fatale, just beautiful, with some strong shoulders and fierce embroideries.

Yes not so great…
But when I mean Couture and not Redcarpet, is that I hope to see well made clothes with creativity, inventivity, freshness and a kind of exploration in fabrics.

Redcarpet has to read in photos. Chiffon, taffetas (even though I’m not a fan), Satin duchesse, interesting techniques and all of things of that nature are almost prohibited on a Redcarpet where we want to see wrinkle free clothes that looks slick no matter what.

So I hope that those designers that will debut will try to please themselves and also create with the clients in mind.

Us poor mortal will probably never had the opportunity to see these collections worn by clients in 80% of chances, so I hope the Redcarpet fashion won’t shape the way they approach Couture.
