Exactly three years ago, a tragic car accident took away one of fashion’s fastest-rising modeling stars. When news of Heather Bratton’s passing echoed throughout the industry, many were shocked and devastated for this beautiful young woman with much potential. A few months later, Carine Roitfeld dedicated the September 2006 issue of Vogue Paris to Heather, both V and W Magazine published special mentions, and Mulberry went ahead and published Steven Meisel’s first-and-last campaign featuring Heather – Mulberry FW06 alongside Romina Lanaro and Hugo Sauzay (Click the link below to see more images).

Needless to say, the legacy of Heather Bratton live long beyond her years, and we here at Lexposure dedicate this post to her today.

It's true that the legacy of Heather Bratton will live long beyond her years. Although her legacy obviously expands way beyond just her work as a model, the industry will never forget Heather. Heather's Vogue Italia February 2006 cover was the most striking cover I have ever seen, and that will live on forever and it will continue to inspire new generations of designers, models and artists to create beautiful things. She wasn't just stunning, but she had a spirit unlike any other model. I can't even imagine the work that she would go on to produce, she was just so breathtaking and talented.

Although, as I said before, her legacy will not just live on with her modeling, but she will forever be remembered for the incredible, kind and intelligent young woman that she was.

Rest in peace Heather, you are loved and missed by so many!

Oh my Heather is incredible beautiful. I feel so sorry for everything what happened to her Wonderful face, eyes ... I'm very proud on her for everything she has reached. I miss her much. Heather is now in heaven with the angels. She will always be among my favorites
