After landing a Louis Vuitton exclusive, 25-year-old Korean beauty Heejung Park's star is on the rise. Here, she poses for V and answers a few of our essential questions.


How long have you been modeling?

Five years, but mostly in Korea.

Following a Louis Vuitton exclusive for Fall 2017, you walked the Cruise show in Kyoto. How was it?

I can't really explain it but one word to sum it up —magical. Paris is always beautiful but the show that we did in Kyoto was unreal. Being at the Miho Museum really added to the overall experience.

What was your favorite part of working with the LV team?

The clothes of course and I love the bold makeup look Pat's team did on me!

How has modeling changed for you since landing the exclusive?

It was mentally motivating as now I see my goals becoming more concrete.

Let’s talk about beauty—you’ve had so many different looks this past year, from bleached eyebrows to bangs to a bob. Which has been your favorite and why?

I love my job and the fact that I can change characters. My favorite look has been bleaching my eyebrows. I don't know why, but I just feel natural that way.

Bold eye or bold lip?

Bold lip.

What three things do you think everyone should have in their bag?

Phone, lipstick, and external phone battery

What is your favorite song right now?

24K magic by Bruno Mars and ALL Kpop.

If you could have dinner with any three people, who would they be?

Oh man, only three? Definitely my family as I would not be here without their support. My mom, dad, and younger brother. I miss them so much because I am always traveling.

Who is your favorite artist?

Tim Walker (photographer).

What is the first thing you do to wake up in the morning?

Check my mobile.

If you could have a superpower, what would it be?

Teleporting.

If you had to eat one food for the rest of your life, what would it be?

I don't even want to imagine that!

What would you say is your catch phrase?

Work hard, play hard!

On a day off, what would you be doing?

Going to the museum, people watching, shooting on my film camera, going to my favorite comic book store, and seeing an old movie. I love how you can do all of that in one day in NYC.

If you weren’t a model, what would you be doing?

World traveler.

What is coming up next for you?

I will be here in NYC for a bit to continue working then travel home to Korea for work and to see my family.
