I don´t know how long ago this was decided but it appears that Helena Rubinstein products will no longer be available in the UK? Couldn´t find this mentioned in any threads and I was wondering if anyone knows what the reason for this is?

www.helenarubinstein.co.uk

Maybe because there are already so many brands in the Uk, that HR doesn´t have any market to this country.Honeslty i think it´s pretty normal, taking in care that where i live there isn´t as many brands as the Uk, and the reason is the same, i guess.

I guess that is it but still, are there really that many more brands in the UK than most other western countries? and HR being such a well renowned company and all, just struck me as odd.

Yes, in the Uk you can find loads more then in other countries!
Not ot mention low market brands like those Boots sell.

For instance, here we don´t have: Stila, Benefit, Urban Decay, Pixi, Cargo, Rubby & Millie, Lorac, Bare Essectuals, Versace, etc

What we have are the most well known brads, such as Chanel, Christian Dior, Lancome,...

So Helena Rubenstein will for sure play a bigger part here then for instance in the UK.

i think what "sofialuv" said makes a lot of sense, here where i live "middle east" we do have less brands than u have in the uk, -even though they're getting more n more everyday-but still not as much as u have'em in the uk or even maybe in the states -where btw HR products are kinda hard to find- so as she said, we may have a Benefit or Versace counters but not as much as the know high-end brands like Chanel and CD..so as i think a Helena Rubinstien counter would b so perfect in our markets ;p
