This was Sylvie Millstein’s first resort collection for Hellessy, a necessary step as her collection develops at retail — she’s growing with Barneys and a handful of independent retailers. Describing the lineup as “terribly chic, mix-and-match nonchalance,” Millstein showed strong separates, such as her signature off-the-shoulder blouse (it came in a short dress version, too), a black leather shirt-jacket over a long skirt and a great pair of fluid silk georgette pants with a flounce down the side.
