^ gotta love beguelin- i live in their sandals over summer- but you can't get them in the uk!!

LOVE all the white and python pieces and the very first macrame? thong...
and really like the last men's sandal...
never boring though and aways beautifully handcrafted...

Great pics, Runner!
I bought number 18 down which is shown in blue (platform wedge heel with the the little tassles on the strap. However, the ones they had at the local Beguelin store here were in a very soft muted olive mixed with cream and the back strap is in expresso brown leather. The tassles themselves are in the same brown leather strip bow with a little brass ball within the midst of the flower. I'm sure some people will like the blue but I would not have bought them in the other colour. These ones are so beautiful in person with the design and colour combined. They make your foot look exquisite without taking away from what you're wearing. Wore them with a navy Issa dress to a dinner celebration this week and they worked wonderfully.
For anyone that's interested in them, the name printed on the box says NABUCK BCO.ANTICO. Whimsical shoe but very nice on.

P.S. - they also made a great walking lace up shoes in two tone brown. Plain brown tip and embossed ostrich on the rest of the shoe. Great flats for walking in as opposed to a pair of trainers - look really good with jeans too. Name on box is IGNIS T.MORO.
